Summary:

Our DBIS staff are professional team members responsible for supporting each individual's right to live a safe, enjoyable, meaningful life at home and in the community.
As cooperative team members, we support environments that foster creative opportunities for the changing needs and desires of the people we serve.
Position
Responsibilities:
Assists residents with ADL's (which may include the use of adaptive equipment); dining guidelines / protocols.
Help prepare meals, clean, do laundry, grocery shopping, and help keep the home pleasant and comfortable.
Transportation to/from appointments, community events, etc.
Complete daily shift notes, data tracking, and any other individual record keeping that may be assigned.
Assist with the development and implementation of individual support goals.
Administer medications once certified.
Remain current on agency certifications / trainings.
Other programmatic tasks assigned by the Program Director / Site Manager.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Valid driver's license for a minimum of 6 months; and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Physical ability to perform the requirements of this position and ensure residents safety.
Basic computer/office skills.
Background check (CORI).

00 wage differential for Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification.

Position Schedules:
Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm.
Sunday-Thursday 7am-3pm.
Sunday 9am-9pm, Monday 5pm-9pm, Tuesday 3pm-9pm, Wednesday 5pm-9pm, Thursday 3pm-9pm.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
