OverviewEntry level position responsible for office management and administrative support while also executing routine payroll functions and other data processing, as needed.
Successful candidate will be a team player willing to jump in to assist as needed across all departments.
This role will pay a wage of $20 To $25.

Mullins Memorial Center, also known as theMullins Center, is a 9,493-seat multi-purpose arena (10,500 for 360 concerts), located on the campus of theUniversity of Massachusetts, inAmherst, Massachusetts.
The Mullins Center is the home ofUMass Minutemenmen's basketball, women's basketball, andmen's ice hockey.
In addition, the venue hosts numerous concerts, family shows, theater shows, and commencements annually.
Located adjacent to the Mullins Center is the Mullins Community Ice Rink, which is open for public skating and racquetball, while also serving as the home rink for theUMass women's ice hockeyteam.
Responsibilities Maintain files, equipment, supplies, services and overall organization of the business office.
Provide a presence in the business office to greet and assist occasional clients & visitors, as well as, handling phones calls and responding to voicemails and emails.
Process new hire paperwork including background checks and data uploads to a centralized corporate payroll group.
Perform biweekly payroll functions including time clock data and personnel change review and upload, payroll register reconciliation, and check distribution, ensuring timely & accurate processing.
Assist in performing accounts receivable processes including customer invoice preparation, payment application and occasional collection calls Assist in perform accounts payable processes including vendor invoice processing, master file updates/maintenance and annual 1099 reporting.
Assist with cash receipt reporting and reconciliation.
Assist with PCI compliance & reporting.
Perform annual record retention compliance duties and record keeping.
Assist with IT related inventory and credentialing functions.
Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed Required Knowledge/Skills/
Qualifications:
Strong organizational & communications skills.
Ability to multitask with a high level of accuracy while meeting reporting deadlines.
Experience with Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and Word.
Familiarity with ADP, ETime, Sage 100 &/or Paciolan software, a plus.
Ability to work some nights, weekends & holidays on as available/needed.
Qualifications 1 -2 years of experience in a business office environment.
Degree from an accredited college, school, or university preferred.

The duties of this position are performed indoors and occasionally outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time.
The noise level in the work environments is usually moderate to loud during events and minimal during non-even times.
