Community Marketing Representative

The Community Marketing Representative Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity to educate homeowners about reducing their carbon footprint and lowering their utility bills. Use your communication skills and passion for the environment to help homeowners move to action!
This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Next Step Living provides training and ongoing coaching to help you succeed and grow in the role, and there is great opportunity for growth and advancement from this position once you've proven your success. Successful team members can expect to earn $15-$20 per hour.
What You'll Do:
You will be part of a team that is pioneering a new outreach project in Western Massachusetts. We educate homeowners on the benefits of making their homes more energy efficient. Through strategic partnerships with communities, we engage homeowners by knocking on doors in neighborhoods throughout Massachusetts. We also talk with homeowners at a variety of events, including farmers markets, festivals, trade shows, and retail events. We expect team members to canvass three days per week and table events two days per week. Nights and weekends are required.
Before we enter a neighborhood, we're able to identify which homes are the best candidates for Next Step Living's products and services - this makes our conversations more productive! We encourage people to schedule a time when they can learn more about solar panels or other energy efficient solutions for their home.
