Lead Nurse - ASPC

Valley Medical Group is seeking a full time Lead Nurse to run our Ambulatory Surgery and Procedures Center located in Amherst, MA. Position: Lead Nurse ASPC Location: Amherst, MA Responsibilities: The Lead Nurse ASPC will report directly to the ASPC Manager and will be responsible for all daily clinical work flows in conjunction with the GI Coordinator. As the Lead Nurse you will be working collaboratively with the GI Physician to follow established clinical guidelines to provide patient care during and after Endoscopic and GI procedures. The Lead Nurse ASPC will demonstrate appropriate assessment skills including preop DIRECT phone assessments and in person preop and admission assessments, both physical and verbal. The Lead Nurse ASPC will demonstrate safe and effective use of department specific equipment including but not limited to Defibrillator, cardiac/vital signs monitor, pulse oximeter, oxygen administration, VAR automatic resuscitator, cautery and computers. Nurses will take initiative and problems solve equipment problems before asking for help from the ASPC Manager. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
